Meet Our Founders
Adrian Venegas and Bassey Ubokudom had always dreamed of breaking into creative industries. They were inspired by music, film, and television growing up. But they found that well known artists are exceptions to the rule. Most creatives struggle to reach an audience or live off their art. With the lucky ones, who got “discovered”, making up a very small percentage of the total (around 1%), the two decided to build a community.
If people came together, pool resources and knowledge, and lift each other up, there’s no telling how far they could go. Thus spawned two companies, CalaBass Entertainment and EliteMotif. While Calabass (run primarily by Bassey) handles content creation and productions, EliteMotif is Adrian’s dream to help artists pull each other up.
The two bring backgrounds in entrepreneurship, innovation, and creative study to manage artists and guide them along their way. EliteMotif focuses on sustainable, organic growth that can connect talent to a fan-base and new opportunities. Working together, we can create a robust path for every artist to succeed from the ground up.
